Talkin‘ the Talk With Don
Since 2009, I have interviewed some of my favorite artists. I cover a lot of genres because, well, I love all kinds of music. From Classic Rock to Black Metal and all else in between, if I love an artist, I want to talk to them! I try to set a relaxed, ”living room” type of vibe and have a conversation and talk about anything.

Since first hearing them back in 1990, I have been a ginormous fan of pop/rock legends Jellyfish. The band only released two albums (Bellybutton and Spilt Milk) and heavily toured for both. I was extremely lucky to see Jellyfish twice and both times were on the Spilt Milk tour. The album and touring lineup featured […]

Classic rockers Lucifer has been a favorite band of mine for quite some time. Vocalist/Songwriter/Founding member Johanna Sadonis has put out some of my favorite music. Starting with her former band The Oath to Lucifer’s last album, Lucifer III, Johanna never ceases to blow my mind as both a writer and a performer. Lucifer wrapped […]

Hallas is a Swedish band that I can only describe as cosmic and interstellar. Hallas describes their sound as “adventure rock” and after one listen you will totally understand. In 2020 Hallas released its second full-length album Conundrum and this album totally drew me in as a fan. I had a chance to have a […]

I am so glad I finally got to do an interview with Grandma! No, not MY Grandma. Everyone’s favorite Grandma. That’s right. You’ve offered to help her out of the chair! It’s Jodi Cachia. Most may not know her by name but Jodi has been playing the role of Grandma (among other stellar roles) in […]

Episode 54: Geoff Tate
Monday Mar 09, 2020
Monday Mar 09, 2020
Geoff Tate is without a doubt one of my favorite people to talk to. In addition to being the legendary vocalist for Queensryche, Tate is an all-around humble, kind, funny, and engaging human being. This time around, Geoff was very open to talking about how songs from both Empire and Rage for Order still stand […]

The BulletBoys is a band that I hold dear. Their first three albums, (S/T, Freakshow, ZaZa) are three of my favorite albums of the era and definitely one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. In 2019, it was announced that the original BulletBoys lineup would be reuniting. Marq Torien, Lonnie Vincent (bass), Mick […]
